In May I had the honor of traveling up to New Castle, CO (just outside of Glenwood Springs) to shoot a wedding for this awesome couple. The setting was beautiful...expansive skies, dandelion fields, green hills and more. New Castle is definitely a hidden gem, and to get access to this property for the wedding couldn't have been more ideal. It was all in the details; Lauren made sure this Colorado Wedding was completely her style. We had antlers, hay bales, cowboy boots, an old truck and even shotguns to fill the hands of the wedding party. Lauren and Chris couldn't have been more in love on this day, and everyone at the wedding saw how deeply devoted they are to one another. Thank you Lauren and Chris for letting me capture your special day!

What a unique wedding---The venue was at a farm in Longmont, CO, which gave us access to antique International trucks, hay bales, peacocks, fields, and a vineyard-like setting. It was drizzling throughout the day and the ceremony had to be moved inside, but it didn't take away from the lush green atmosphere and fog we were able to capture in the photos. The wedding almost felt like it was in the Washington or Oregon area; definitely rare for Colorado. The getting ready area was an old victorian house with beautiful stairs, and had an outside touret where were able to get a few pictures of the bride. After the ceremony, we braved out the cold for a bit to finish the couple pictures, and then headed inside for heartfelt speeches, food, and a little dancing. There was one more surprise for the night, and that was a collection of eagles and owls from the Rocky Mountain Raptor Center in Fort Collins, CO.
