You know what, I dig you. I dig you just the way you are (cue some Bruno Mars here). But seriously, you are AMAZING JUST THE WAY YOU ARE. I am not a big fan of editing your face off. Of course I will fix blemishes/smooth a little skin + fix things that are not supposed to be there, but I don't want to change you.
You want to know why?
Because you are GORGEOUS!
As a senior photographer I see way too many plastic doll photos out there, and I truly don't believe that is who you are or who you should strive to be.
I can't help myself, I'm in love with natural light. I truly believe it's the prettiest and most flattering light that anybody could hope for, especially on a golden Colorado evening. Everything you see in my portfolio for the most part revolves around natural lighting, even the urban stuff.
Photography is ALL about the lighting. The pretty skies, the golden light, the harsh white light mid-day -- I'm a master at all lighting situations and super stoked to rock out the look you want because it's all pretty rad.
Whether you want an URBAN or NATURE session, OR BOTH, I know exactly what we need to do to achieve the beautiful lighting effect you are hoping for.

I'm Ashley, your photog! So I'm a little older and wiser these days (with a husband + 2 kiddos), but I remember what it was like to be a senior in High School. Those years are TOUGH! So many activities and responsibilities while trying to figure out who you are and how you will make a difference in the world. I literally felt like I had to to do everything, and I did! But you know what, I LOVED High School. I had the best of friends, who are still some of my best friends to this very day. We ate way too much Panhandlers Pizza, had a lot of late night BFF sleepovers and laughed more than any other time in my life. Cherish your senior year; because although college is crazy amazing and fun too, you will never get this time back with your childhood friends or your family. I know, I know -- sounding like a mom now.
